NEUROPSYCHOLOGY ASSESSMENT

A full neuropsychology assessment costs R7000. The assessment is conducted over three sessions as below. If you will be travelling from far, and will be unable to come to all three sessions, please let us know and we will make alternative arrangements and fees:

• First appointment, history interview, and assessment (approx. 120 minutes, code: 86211, R2150)

• Second assessment session (approx. 120 minutes, code 86211, R2150)

• Feedback session (approx. 51-60 minutes, code: 86205, R1200)

• The report writing fee of R1500 is not covered by medical aids.

Follow-up neuropsychology assessments may be necessary for monitoring progress or for insurance purposes. A follow-up neuropsychology assessment costs R4500 and is made up of the following sessions:

• Additional history interview and assessment session (approx. 150 minutes, codes: 86211 & 86290, R2550)

• Feedback session (approx. 41-50 minutes, code: 86204, R950)

• The report writing fee of R1000 is not covered by medical aids.

Neuropsychology assessments conducted for medico-legal purposes (e.g., Road Accident Fund claims, personal injury claims) involve extensive medico-legal reports and carry a higher fee. Please be in contact, below, for our medico-legal rates.

Individual consultation fee: R1200 (approx. 51 - 60 min, code: 86205)

Group consultation fee*: R270 for individuals or R450 per couple (approx. 51-60 min, code 86305)

*for groups of a minimum of 4 people
