MEET THE TEAM

KIRSTY CARTER

Hello, I am a clinical neuropsychologist in Cape Town, southern suburbs. I assess, diagnose, and treat brain disorders.

I have been a psychologist in private practice for over 10 years. I have worked as both an Educational Psychologist and a Clinical Neuropsychologist. This has given me the opportunity to gain experience in understanding the individual at different life stages and within differing family and social systems.

It is an honour and a privilege to meet every one of my patients and I truly value the opportunity to better understand every individual’s unique and complex interaction between body, mind, and environment.

I have a special interest in assessing cognitive decline in dementia related queries and in exploring concerns related to attention and memory difficulties.

TARYN FISH

A ‘people person’ at heart, what drew me to Neuropsychology is the unique way it combines a deep appreciation for our humanness with rigorous science.

My training at Groote Schuur and Red Cross Children’s Hospital has given me a strong foundation in recognising the variety of neuropsychological syndromes prevalent in the South African context.

A holistic approach to treatment is important to me and I am passionate about seeing individuals with neurocognitive challenges included and supported within their families and society.
